This is the second of two of these sweet little hand-finished dishes from post-war Japan. It was likely intended for a tea bag and spoon but we just like it as a decorative object. This one features an apple shape with a face. It’s a small dish at roughly 3.5″ x 2.5″ but could be used for jewelry or similar small things. See last photo for scale. Overall excellent condition with minimal crazing and no major chips or cracks. Some very minor surface glaze loss on the left edge.
