We’ve collected and sold a few of these and this would have been one of our best ones because the details and overall condition was very good. Unfortunately, the handle got broken off in storage and has been epoxied back in place. ← Please read.
The handle repair is not very visible from the front, which is the most important part anyway. Please see photos.
There is some minor surface crazing which is typical of ceramics of this age. If you look closely, you’ll see the glossy surface of the glaze has very fine crazing throughout and a very tiny bit of glaze loss here and there. Even with the surface crazing and the repaired handle, this is still a great collector’s piece.
This item is sold as-is and is intended for decorative purposes only. Do not use this for food and definitely do not microwave or put in dishwasher. This is sold as an antique decorative object only (we use them as pen holders, for example).
