We love these vintage porcelain hand-shaped dishes. They were made in post WWII Japan, likely intended as a resting place for a small pipe or possibly cigar. This one has very nice gold accents. Would make a nice ring dish or jewelry holder for a couple of pieces. This one is fairly small – approximately 4″ long x 2″. See last photo for scale. Very good vintage condition. Some minor wear and paint loss but no significant cracks or crazing.
