This cute little vintage ceramic squirrel appears to have been intended originally as a mini planter. It’s very small, though, at only 3.5″ tall. It is in very good condition with no real cracks or chips. There is some crazing in the glaze due to age.

It appears that the previous owner filled the pot with some sort of dense clay or something. It is not clear what this was for. Maybe to absorb moisture? Hold an incense stick? We don’t know. We did not attempt to remove it. You could probably just pry it out but we left it as-is. See last photo.
