This is the second of these sweet, folky hardwood Betty Boop boxes. It has lots of great character and detail. The box lid slides on and off through fitted slots and is held shut with a little wooden pin. The interior of the box has a second wooden cover (see pictures) and the box is lined with a dark red velvety material. The details appear to be hand-painted and the box outer is finished with clear wood sealant. It has a few little scratches but no significant damage. It is approximately 7″ tall and 3.5″ wide. There’s plenty of room inside to store some of your favorite little items. See last photo with objects shown for scale.
