Forgive Me tattoo photo zine features over 100 photographs of tattoos done in prisons and/or underground (non-professional) settings. These photos were taken on the streets of NYC by D. Tristman over a period of approximately five years. The tattoos in this book range in style from crude hand-poked drawings and symbols to very detailed and intricate imagery made with improvised prison tattoo machines. The photos in this book are both black and white and color. Tattoos that were done with only black ink are presented as black and white photos. Tattoos with color inks are presented as full color photos.
