Here’s a somewhat more imperfect and folky version of this vintage risqué mug. Made in post-war Japan and hand-finished, this one features a swinging butt suspended from a stiff wire. Unlike many of these mugs, the holes for the wire on this mug are hidden. It’s in overall good condition for its age but it does have some typical surface crazing. There is also a very small chip in the lip of the cup just above and to the right of the woman’s head.
This is sold as-is. Buyer should consider this an antique for display purposes and not drink from it. Do not microwave or put in dishwasher.
