This sweet, folky hardwood Betty Boop box was handmade by a crafts-person and has lots of great character and detail. I believe it is part of a popular wood-working projects series that were designed for hobbyists. The box lid slides on and off through fitted slots and is held shut with a little wooden pin. The interior of the box is lined with a dark red velvety material. The details appear to be hand-painted and the box outer is finished with clear wood sealant. It is approximately 7″ tall and 3.5″ wide. There’s plenty of room inside to store some of your favorite little items. See last photo with objects shown for scale.
