This metal ashtray/dish features an old fashioned cat wearing a big ribbon. It appears to be made from solid brass. There are some signs of wear and corrosion, especially on the back. Overall, still in good condition and could be used as either an ashtray or just a trinket/jewelry dish. It measures 3″ wide and 4″ from bottom to top. See last photo with items for scale.
I’ve come across a few similar cat dishes but I rarely find ones like this with a bow. This may, in fact, be a reproduction of an even older antique but it’s cool anyway.
