This beautiful and rare mini liquor decanter was likely made as a souvenir, probably in the mid or late ’40s or ’50s. It features a nude woman sitting on a barrel, winking. Her head acts as the cork bottle top and comes off. On the front of the barrel, it reads, “SCOTCH – POP’S FAVORITE DRINK.” This one is in fairly good condition with no significant chips or cracks. It does have a lot of light surface crazing which is typical of old ceramics like this. The cork stopper is still in fairly good condition and fits firmly in the bottle. This bottle is not large. It is 7″ tall with the top on and only about 2.5″ wide.
The inside of the bottle looks a bit dusty and dirty, so it is not recommended for holding liquor. This is a rare antique intended for decorative purposes.
